Welcome and thank you for visiting my page!

I am a rising 10th grader at Rick Reedy High School, located in Frisco.

Born into a family that is musically oriented, I have been blessed with a heritage that spans generations. Both maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as great-grandparents, have been my inspiration in the world of Carnatic music. My parents, who grew up in the same environment are ardent music lovers and supporters of Carnatic and Hindustani music and my dad is a flutist. My parents are my primary motivators and my first gurus.

Journey to Carnatic Vocal:

My Carnatic journey began when I was 4 years old, with my mom as my first Guru, along with my vadinas (cousins - Sahithi Nallani and Sriya Nallani), who imparted the knowledge of Carnatic vocal music. Inspite of their busy schedules, they invested their time and energy, which really laid great foundation for my musical journey. I continued my Carnatic vocal journey under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. Meenakshi Anipindi, Mrs. Ila Sangeetha Diliip.
Extremely thankful to Mrs. Janaki ammammagaru, who trained and guided me for my Sampada Junior (Level 1 and 2) and Senior (Level 3 and Level4) Carnatic Violin and Vocal certifications.

Journey to Carnatic Violin:

My journey did not stop with vocal. Attending concerts helped me understand the intricacies of Carnatic music and my interest grew in multi-fold for various instruments and genres. I was around 7 years old, when I was introduced to Carnatic violin, and I instantly fell in love it.

With my Guru and mentor, Vid. Uma Mahesh uncle by my side (who is my well-wisher, guide, philosopher), my violin journey started.

I humbly thank Vid. K.J.Diliip for accepting me as his disciple to continue my journey as a Carnatic violist.

Journey to Carnatic Flute:

With COVID lockdown, staying at home and boredom, my dad decided to get back to picking up flute again after an extremely long break since he was a kid.

With great motivation from Phani uncle, Prasad uncle and Shivkumar uncle, my dad kickstarted his flute journey during COVID lockdown period. Inspired by my father, I explored the intricate melodies of the Carnatic flute and Phani uncle and Prasad uncle next to me, supporting and guiding me all along, I am able to fulfill my passion (and my dad's dream) of performing Flute Arangetram today.

Journey to Western Flute and Bassoon:

My enthusiasm for western music developed as a result of playing the Bassoon as my primary band instrument in middle school band since the sixth grade. In addition, I play the Bassoon in the Reedy Wind Ensemble group and the western flute in the Reedy Marching Band during the marching season. I'm really grateful to have Ms. Haley Blanchard supporting me and mentoring me while I pursue my musical goals.

Overall, I am really happy and fortunate to say that my gurus were by my side, understanding and supporting me during the ups and downs, while I juggled classes, school, and other extracurricular activities. I have had my fair share of ups and downs.

I am really thankful and indebted to all my gurus and mentors – Mrs. Dr. Meenakshi Anipindi, Vid. Umamahesh Iyer, Vid. K.J.Diliip and Mrs. Ila Sangeetha Diliip, Mrs. Janaki ammammagaru, Vid. Krishna Prasad, Vid. Phani, who played a crucial role in my musical development and my personal growth. I am who I am now today because of their blessings and my gurus' faith in me.
